Snowflake Connector in Bold Reports.

With this connector, users can access and analyze data stored in Snowflake, create visually appealing reports and dashboards, and make data-driven decisions with ease. To configure the Snowflake connector in Bold Reports, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Data icon in the configuration panel of Bold Reports.

  2. In the DATA configuration panel, click on the NEW DATA button.

  3. In the connection type panel, choose Snowflake in the DATASOURCES pane as shown in the following snapshot.

After configuring the Snowflake connector, follow the steps below to connect the Snowflake data source in Bold Reports.

  1. In the Name field, need to specify the data source name without including any special characters.

  2. Then enter the valid connection string in the following format and select the authentication type to connect with specified data source. After that, click the Connect button to establish a connection to your Snowflake instance.

  1. With the Snowflake Connector connected, you can now retrieve data from your Snowflake database using the query builder within Bold Reports to write custom queries or select data visually using query builders and execute your queries to fetch the desired dataset to ensure it meets your reporting requirements as shown below.

Only query mode is supported for Snowflake data source.

  1. Click Finish to save the data source.
