Email Attachment Size Limits

Published:
Updated:

Introduction

When scheduling emails, attachment size limits can cause failures if the total email size exceeds the allowed threshold. Different email services have specific file size restrictions, and exceeding these limits may lead to scheduling failures or email rejections.

This KB provides email attachment size limits along with official documentation links, helping users ensure their scheduled emails comply with size restrictions.

Email Service Sending Limit Notes
Gmail 25 MB Files exceeding 25 MB are automatically uploaded to Google Drive.
Outlook 20 MB Larger files can be shared via OneDrive instead of attachments.
Office 365 (Exchange Online) 25 MB (default, configurable up to 150 MB) Admins can configure the limit up to 150 MB.
