How to Disable Auto-Rendering in Bold Reports to Display the Parameter Panel First

Published:
Updated:

By default, reports in Bold Reports may render automatically upon opening if parameters have default values (including “Allow Null”). However, many users prefer to display the parameter panel first to review or adjust values before generating the report. You can disable the auto-render feature in the Bold Reports Designer to ensure the parameter panel appears by default. Follow the steps below to configure this setting.

Steps to Disable Auto-Rendering

  1. Open Report Settings

    • Open your report in the Bold Reports Designer.
    • In the properties panel, navigate to Report Settings, expand the Miscellaneous category, locate the Set Attributes option and click on it.
