How to Adjust the Legend Marker Width in Bold Reports Line Charts

Published:
Updated:

In Bold Reports, legends play a key role in helping users understand chart data by representing each series with a marker and label. In Line Charts, the legend marker typically appears as a small line segment or symbol corresponding to the series.
In some scenarios, the default legend marker width may be too small or not visually distinct. Bold Reports allows you to adjust the legend marker width using the shapewidth custom attributes, improving chart clarity and presentation.

This article explains how to modify the legend marker width for line charts.

Steps to Configure the Custom Property

Step 1: Select the Chart

  • Open your report in the Bold Reports Designer and select the Line Chart you want to modify.
