Step-by-Step Guide to Connecting DB2 to Bold Reports via ODBC

This article explains how to connect IBM DB2 to Bold Reports using the IBM DB2 ODBC driver and a configured System DSN.

Prerequisites

Steps to Connect DB2 in Bold Reports

1. Open the ODBC Data Sources Administrator (64-bit) tool and add a System DSN. Refer to the images below for assistance:
   
   

2. The Data Source Name must match the DB2 database name.

3. Once the DSN is added, confirm that the new DSN appears in the System DSN list.

4. Open Bold Reports and create an ODBC data source and select the configured System DSN to connect to DB2.
