This article explains how to apply the Cylinder drawing style to supported charts by configuring DrawingStyle custom attribute in the Report Designer.
Steps to Apply the Cylinder Drawing Style
- Open your Bold Report server
- Open your report in Report Designer.
- Select the chart you’d wish to configure
- Access Series Properties
- Click the chart to select it.
- In the Properties panel on the right, locate the Basic Settings section.
- Find the Choose Series option.
- Click the Edit (pencil) icon next to the series you want to modify (for example,
Series1).
- Open Custom Attributes
- In the Series Properties pane, scroll down to the Miscellaneous section.
- Locate the Custom Attributes property.
- Click the Set Attribute button to open the configuration dialog.
- Configure the DrawingStyle Attribute
- Click Add to create a new attribute entry.
- Enter the Name and the Value, then click OK to save the changes.
Attribute name: DrawingStyle
Value: Cylinder
- Preview the Chart
- Click the Preview button in the top toolbar. The Bar or Column chart will now display a cylindrical effect instead of flat rectangles.
