When creating reports with multiple charts, it’s important to maintain consistency in color schemes across the charts to enhance visualization and comprehension for the audience. One efficient way to achieve this consistency is by utilizing the Color Palette property within charting tools. This Knowledge Base (KB) article provides a step-by-step guide on how to apply the same colors to all charts using this feature.

Steps to Apply Consistent Colors using the “Color Palette” Property

  1. Access the chart report items you wish to modify and configure the data for each charts accordingly.
  2. Select each charts individually, navigate to the properties panel and locate the Chart Area property. Within this property, select the Color Palette option.
  3. Repeat the process for each chart, selecting the desired Color Palette theme to maintain uniformity.

  4. Once you applied the Color Palette to all charts, preview the report to confirm consistent colors across each chart.
