How to Customize the User Sort Icon Color in Tablix Headers in Bold Reports

In Bold Reports, you can customize the user sort icon color in Tablix headers using the custom property “UserSortIconColor”. This feature allows you to modify the appearance of the sorting icons to align with your report’s design and branding requirements. It enhances the report’s visual consistency and improves user experience by making the sorting indicators more distinguishable.

Please follow the below steps to use this feature:

1. Create a report with a Tablix report item and enable Interactive Sorting for the Tablix header, as shown in the snapshot below.

   

2. Select the specific cell or textbox where the user sort option is enabled. Navigate to the Properties panel and set the Custom Property “UserSortIconColor” and then set the value as your preferred color (e.g., Red, #FF0000, or RGB(255,0,0)). Refer to the image below for further guidance.

   
   

3. Save the report after applying the custom property. Click Preview to view the report. The user sort icon will now appear in the color you specified within the designated cell or textbox.
