In Bold Reports, the Report Designer includes a built-in option to display sample data when creating or editing reports. While this feature can be helpful for new users, experienced users or production environments may prefer to disable the “Import Sample Data” pop-up to avoid unnecessary prompts during report design.

Steps to Hide the Import Sample Data Option
1. Access Bold Reports Server Settings
- Open your Bold Reports Server instance and log in with administrator credentials.
- Click the Settings icon (gear icon) in the left navigation panel.
- Select the Reports tab from the top navigation menu to access report configuration settings.
2. Access the Reports Designer Option
- In the Report Settings section, click the Report Designer tab.
- Locate the Show Sample Data option. By default, it is toggled ON.
- Switch the Show Sample Data toggle to OFF.The pop-up is suppressed, and the designer opens without prompting for sample data.
3. Save the Changes
- Click the Save button at the bottom of the page to apply the configuration.
- Navigate back to the Server home page.
- Create a new report or open an existing report.
You will notice that the Import Sample Data pop-up no longer appears.
