Steps to Configure Currency Symbols

Step 1. Access the Format Dialog

  1. Locate the report item where the currency needs to be formatted (e.g., a currency textbox).
  2. Open the Properties panel by clicking the Settings icon.
  3. Under the Basic Settings section, locate the Format option.
  4. Click on the three dots (...) on the right side of the format textbox.

Step 2. Modify Format Settings

  1. In the format dialog:
    • Set the Type to Currency.
    • Specify the number of decimal places based on your preferences.
    • Use the Currency Culture dropdown to select a preferred culture option. For example: English (United States) for the $ symbol.

  • Customize additional currency-related properties as needed in the Format dialog. Once all changes are made, click OK to save.

The preview on the right side of the Format dialog provides a quick view of how the currency field will appear after formatting.

Step 4. Preview
